Right now it's a typical morning for a friday. Lots of hustle and bustle going on outside the house. Have a mentioned yet that we live next door to a Mosque and that every morning at 5:30am they do a call to worship over huge loudspeakers? Good morning indeed. Two days ago was a celebration for Republic day. About 60 years ago that day India gained its independence from Britain. We celebrated with all the orphan children. There was lots of dancing, laughing, and general merryment. It was a wonderful day of celebration!
Yesterday we had a chance to relax and I got laundry done. We are so thankful to have a washing machine here. It still a bit involved. It doesn't automatically put water into the basin and when it's time for the spin cycle you have to drain the main basing then transfer the clothes to another basin for the spin cycle. Amazingly though, it gets clothes very clean AND hang drying clothes hear doesn't take long. All of our clothes were dry within 3 hrs!! I was shocked! Anyhow, it was great because all the girls have been down with a cold so the rest was great! Liz and I had a great day of just hanging out, doing worship together, and getting some reading in. God has been very gracious to us and He has been taking such good care of Liz. Praise God that she is getting so much better.
Last night Liz, myself, Bethany, and Taylor got to take a trip into downtown Tenali to by some things for dinner and such. None of us had ever been in that area before...it was INCREDIBLE! The sights, the sounds, the culture! It was just an amazing experience to see the actual area where we will be doing most of our shopping for the next couple months. The produce area was tucked back passing through an alley to get to it. It opens up to an amazing world of colors and fresh vegetables. We ate pretty good last night.
Today we are going to the place where the church building is gonna be built. We are doing devotion and worship this morning there and just covering that whole vision with prayer.
Pray for us as we minister to others. Pray that everyone is completely healed of there colds. God is so good and we love you all! Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!
Chris, Lizzi, and the Baby!

I love hearing from you; thanks so much for taking the time! It's fun to hear the various details, and how God is meeting you each in special ways. We'll continue to pray for you all, and for Lizzi and the baby! We had fun visiting with Pat & Walt last weekend. Gpa was so excited about the beginnings of their new little cottage, and he asked Steve lots of questions about TV & computer cabling, etc. He's amazing. We also had a fun dinner with your folks and the Halls, and we were happy to hear that there's a great service that allows you to talk on the phone so inexpensively with your mom & dad! (That would have saved me some $ when I was in India!). God Bless you all! Love, Dennie P.S. Please say hi to everyone for me!
